Painting Basics: Sushi!

Yay done! My first series of paintings ever. It was really fun. Each painting is made using water soluble oils (first time-it was awesome) on gessoed diskettes that I had lying around. Took about 45 mins-1 hr each. Reference photos form this old sushi book from the early 90's I found around the house. Oh and check out my world class photo studio:

I realized as I was taking the picture on the right that I ended up using a couple of my self portraits around my high tech studio. Look at me peeking all weird-like.
