It's been a while since I've uploaded. Just had other things to do. I haven't forgotten my studies though! More paintings, drawings, sketches coming!

Trees in autumn

It's getting colder, which sucks. But the mercury drop makes for some pretty looking trees. These two I sketched while I waiting for my lil sister to get dropped off by the schoolbus. This new stylus I'm using as a substitute for the DS stylus (the new one looks like an actual pen) really helps.

Old bus commuter sketches

These are a couple of sketches of bus commuters I've forgotten to upload. Out of the two I enjoyed drawing the one on the right. I liked his lazy pose and his semi-open gawking mouth look. Hmm maybe I'll retouch the one of the girl. Maybe.

Life Drawing 101_1

I've realized that my traditional art skills are not to par to what I wanted to be at this point. In fact, it's been slowly dying due to lack of practice in the past couple of years.  

SO I've decided to blow away the dust that's been collecting on my art instruction books and finally go through them. Restarting from square one. Everyday for a few hrs a day. The studies above were done with tidbits from the first few pages of "Figure Drawing: Design and Invention" by Michael Hampton and "Bridgeman's Completel Guide to Drawing from Life".
